Our platform runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The data that gets submitted to create the reports which our system builds for you is stored on AWS’s Simple Storage Service (S3.) We offer the ability to store that data on your own S3 bucket rather than ours. All of the requests for that data then must pass through the “S3 Gatekeeper.”
The end result is that you can blacklist even OUR servers IPs and everything continues to function as it should. Moreover, every transaction that takes place on the Gatekeeper is put into a searchable audit log database that the customer has full control of in their AWS account.
Besides the Custom S3 configuration, this service includes setting up Lambda, DynamoDB, Cloudwatch, and the API Gateway services of of your AWS account. Upon setup, we are able to enter into a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with you and we’ll help walk you through entering into a BAA with Amazon.
This service and setup was designed for our partners who require meeting the requirements of strict regulatory mandates including HIPAA, SOX, GDPR, and PIPEDA but is available to anyone requiring a more restrictive security policy.
